IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Warning devices are strictly regulated and governed by Federal, State, and Municipal Ordinances. These devices shall be used ONLY on approved vehicles. It is the sole responsibility of the user of these devices to ensure compliance. By purchasing emergency lighting, sirens, and other emergency equipment, you attest that you are legally authorized to install or operate such equipment in your jurisdiction or state. Great Lakes Upfitting accepts no responsibility or liability for improperly or illegally purchased equipment installed in/on a vehicle that is contrary to state laws or that which is used contrary to state laws. Great Lakes Upfitting does not restrict orders to specific persons or organizations, and all transactions are handled in good-faith that the products ordered will be installed or used lawfully within the jurisdiction or state for which they are operating.

Proposition 65 Warning
At Great Lakes Upfitting, we take safety seriously. The Proposition 65 warning, officially named the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, is a label notification required by law on all products that contain materials or chemicals known to the state of California as something that may cause cancer or reproductive harm. The act was passed into law in 1986 by the state of California and has since widened its scope to include more than 800 chemicals and substances. This includes more common materials like brass and PVC, and as such you may see the warning on items ranging from shoes to oils. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Credit Card Charges
Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If we are not able to fulfill your order for any reason your credit card will be refunded.

SHIPPING POLICY

Turnaround
All orders are processed within 24 hours Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm EST. Custom orders or items that are ordered direct from the manufacturer are subject to the manufacturer's lead times (typically 1 to 3 weeks). Special orders, out-of-stock and back orders will require additional time before shipping.

Carriers
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
UPS, USPS

Order Tracking
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES POLICY

How To Return An Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

1. Please email contact@greatlakesupfitting.com to request a return and we will assign you an RMA #.
2. You will receive information on how to return your item.
3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.

Return Exceptions
Some items cannot be returned if they are opened. Custom or configured items are built-to-order by the manufacturer and therefore cannot be returned. Merchandise that has been used or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Restocking Fee
All items are subject to a 20% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.

Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges at this time.

Product images do not guarantee product depiction. Images are for general purpose of the product only. Please refer to the product description and model number prior to purchasing.

DISPUTES
